Media accreditation
Premier Padel Pretoria P1 2026 welcomes applications for media accreditation from accredited journalists, photographers, broadcast crews and online publishers. Accreditation is required for access to the press tribune, media work-room, mixed zone and post-match press conferences.
Who should apply
Accreditation is open to working media on assignment for a recognised outlet. We accept applications from:
- Newspapers, magazines and online news publications
- Television and radio broadcasters
- Photo and video agencies
- Specialist padel, tennis and racket-sport publications
- Verified independent journalists with documented commissioning letters
Personal blogs, social-media-only accounts without an editorial parent, and uncommissioned freelancers will be considered case-by-case and prioritised after primary media.
What accreditation provides
- Tournament-week access pass for the credentialed media zones
- Wi-Fi access in the work-room
- Seating in the press tribune on Centre Court
- Access to the mixed zone for post-match player interviews
- Attendance at scheduled press conferences (typically after each Centre Court match)
- Access to the official match photography pool (subject to embargo on commercial reuse)
What you need to apply
Have the following ready before opening the application form:
- A government-issued photograph identifying document — passport for international applicants, ID book or driver's license for South African residents
- A formal commissioning letter from your editor on letterhead, dated within the last 60 days, confirming you are covering this tournament for the outlet named
- A profile photo for your accreditation card (head-and-shoulders, plain background, JPEG or PNG, minimum 800×800 pixels)
- For photographers and video crews: a brief description of equipment you intend to bring, including any non-standard items requiring rigging or floor space
Process
Applications are reviewed by the media team weekly. You will receive an email confirming receipt within 48 hours, followed by an outcome decision within 14 days. Accreditation cards are collected in person on arrival at the venue with your matching photo ID.
Embargo and conduct
All match photography and video taken in credentialed zones is subject to a 24-hour embargo on commercial resale. Accredited media agree to abide by the Premier Padel code of conduct and the tournament's photographer guidelines, both of which are included in the welcome pack issued on collection of credentials.
